Myofascial Release

Dealing with connective tissues
The fascia is a continuous web of tissue surrounding every organ, nerve fiber , ligament, bone and muscle in the body. Fascia can get "stuck" from physical and emotional trauma causing tightening, pain and restriction of movement. Myofascial Release is a manual therapy technique, using gentle hand movements to release these restrictions bringing health and wellness back to the client. If you have chronic pain or have been injured, a regular massage or even a deep tissue massage may not be enough. The connective tissue in your body may have problems that cause muscle shortness and tightness that doesn't go away. Myofascial release (MFR) therapy focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness. Many patients seek myofascial treatment after losing flexibility or function following an injury or if experiencing ongoing back, shoulder, hip, or virtually pain in any area containing soft tissue.
